Wine tasting with Paolo Basso

Consistent with its social aims of raising funds for research into rare genetic diseases, the newly formed association PCDH19 SUISSE has the pleasure of inviting you to an extraordinary event that will allow us to meet Paolo Basso, the world's best sommelier in 2013, now working as a consultant for Air France and Manor, wine producer in Ticino and teacher. The evening will allow us to retrace his professional trajectory and deepen our knowledge of the world of wines, as well as to taste some of them. It will also be an opportunity to get to know our association, its aims, the Committee and, thanks to your participation in this event, make a financial contribution that will be donated to a team of researchers active in research on the PCDH19 gene.

Osteria Penel, Via Moncucco 35, 6903 Lugano Besso, with parking available at the Clinica Luganese Moncucco.

What is the programme?

Meeting at 6.45 p.m. followed by a brief presentation of the association. The floor will then be passed to Paolo Basso, who will take us through his professional career and offer us some of his wines to taste, accompanied by appetisers and delicacies prepared by our friends at the Osteria Penel.

How much does it cost?

Francs 100 per person to be paid at the time of registration into the account of the PCDH19 Suisse Association. With this sum you contribute to the active support of research into the PCDH19 gene.

The number of places is limited to 50 and registrations will be accepted and confirmed in the order in which they are submitted.
